Discovery NotesThe phage was discovered from a soil sample taken from in between two bushes on SCSU campus outside of Pelz Gymnasium. The soil sample was taken on September 9, 2013. The soil was damp and cold and the depth of where the sample was taken from was about 6 cm. The temperature was about 52 degrees F and it had not rained in the past few days.
