Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from a soil patch under a tree near Lake Arthur on the campus of Gonzaga University. It was in summer months, with sunny weather. The soil was hard on top, and more wet as you dug under.
Naming NotesThe phage name was taken and modified from the original movie and TV show, Scooby Doo. Throughout our research, we found ourselves being very interested in the mystery of discovering a new phage. Here the mystery began!
