Discovery NotesIsolated from newly landscaped flowerbed soil in warm weather. Soil was fairly dry.
Naming NotesThe SEM picture shows a phage with a ridged tail, like a screw. Since Screwtape is a famous literary demon and phages are demons of a sort (they possess and use hapless creatures to do their bidding), I thought it was a fitting name.
