Discovery NotesWe adopted our phage from Garrett Beene and Dalton Heichelheim.
The soil sample was collected from a cool, shady area under a tree. The soil was dark black and moist. Vegetation was present surrounding the location of excavation.
Naming NotesBecause we adopted our phage from our tablemates in lab, we decided it would be fitting to give them sibling-themed names. So, theirs is named Tchalla and ours is Shuri, from the Marvel movie Black Panther. Additionally, we chose Wakandan names because of the fictional country's scientific prowess.
