Discovery NotesI collected my soil sample around 2pm and it was really hot out (90 degrees F, mostly sunny) and the soil was hard and dried up. I got my soil sample from a pond near my house in Aurora, IL. I used a new plastic spoon to dig a little to get some fresh soil in the bottom, but that was dried up too. Soil sample is dark. It also contained small pieces of rocks, grass, and roots.
Naming NotesI named my phage Soilva because it sounds like my name and soil combined.
