Discovery NotesGot soil sample from (33.05572°N, 97.09381°W) in north western Flower Mound, Texas. (My backyard) on 1/21/24. The temperature was 37° at 7:55 pm. The location was near some flower bushes, where the flower and leaves had wilted. I scraped off a little topsoil then took about two spoonful's of soil and placed them in a plastic bag.
Naming NotesNamed after the plant I took the soil sample from. It's scientific name is Veronica, but I thought Speedwell was cuter.
