Discovery NotesFound in Ruder reserve in Oxford, Ohio. Sample taken from a stream bank. Little sunlight due to canopy. Found near near a pool of water blocked off by a decaying tree.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage came from Father Spyridon Bailey, an orthodox priest serving in the ROCOR in England. He has published many books, as well as having a youtube channel. I am naming this phage after him out of respect and admiration for him.
