Discovery NotesIt was found underneath a pile of leaves on the side of the trail. The soil was pretty moist, but was still loose and not compacted mud. It was collected on February 5th, 2023.
Naming NotesThe staring part comes from being given some weird looks and glances while I was collecting the sample. Since I collected it from near the entrance of a nature trail, there were a lot of people walking by and I was just trying to be friendly, but all I got in return was some really cold looks. The leaves part is since I found it under a pile of small dead leaves.
