Discovery NotesApproximately 9:00pm in evening with air temp around 63°F. Located on bluff of LMU campus, 5 feet from bench on edge of bluff. Soil sample retrieved 3-4 inches beneath soil around small grasses and shrub-like plants. The sample collected and the soil around it was moist.
Naming NotesPhage was named for being generic. No real special or unusual qualities from phage have been seen; Steve is a generic name thus the phage was dubbed Steve27.
