Discovery NotesThe temperature was 88F with 59% humidity at 11:27 am on June 1. It was taken from a sunflower patch on the edge of two semi regularly mowed rural residential lots. No pesticides are used in the area for lawn care.
The sunflower patch itself was green and flowering though the surrounding grasses were a mix of green and brown and dry. No animals were observed in this location, at time of collection.
The soil was dry and crumbly with little forced needed to collect the sample.
