Discovery NotesThe sample was taken across the street from the John J. Hemmingson Center and next to Welch Residential Hall. It was taken from the tree closest to the Rosauer Education Center, next to the "No Parking" sign. In the sample there were small rocks, some minerals, some small roots, and the soil was grainy with some chunks, it was dark and moist.
