Discovery NotesPhage was collected from a sample that was found in direct sunlight. The soil was collected on August 27th, 2017. It had not rained, and the temperature was nearing 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The soil was dry, and the sample was taken at surface level to 1/2 cm deep.
Naming NotesMy phage has evacuated heads combined with full heads, seeing as Tinkerbelle was a fairy from the Peter Pan movies, I believed my phage reminded me of a fairy.

Plaque NotesVery turbid circles that vary in size. Some are smaller and some are larger. The larger plaques range from 3-4 mm, while the small plaques are 2-3 mm. However, they are of the same phage. A round of streak plating was done to confirm. The plaques are perfect circles, and have little variation on the shape, there is no variation on the turbidness of the plaques. They are very hard to see without a quality camera.
