Discovery NotesThe soil looked dry from the top, but when I dug 3-4 inches into the dirt it was moist from the bottom of the dry dirt. I have collected 1/2 pound of soil.It
was moist and a bit wet because the pond was right by it. It was soft when I have collected it at 3:30 pm. The clay had a really dark brown/black color to it, and had a play doh feeling. It contained
mostly roots and small pieces of wood.
Naming NotesI named the phage Winnie Pooh, the children's show Winnie the Pooh. It was my favorite show when I was a child and it came straight to my mind when we began to choose phage names. It is a bit funny but fun to deal with.
