Discovery NotesSoil was collected on 1/10/2016 from phipps conservatory roof-top garden. The soil has been exposed to the elements and was moist from recent rains. It seems to contain nutrients for plants and has been previously used for growing plants. A picture of the location where it was collected is attached. The coordinates were 40 degrees 26'19' N 79 degrees 56'52' W at 940ft elevation. The weather was rainy with winds at 20 mph at time of collection and the temperature was 39 degrees Fahrenheit. In the last 24 hours the weather has been warm, at around 50 degrees during the day but below freezing at night.
