Discovery NotesThe soil sample used to find Zashind was found not even an inch under ground. It was approximately 62 degrees Fahrenheit. It was a somewhat damp soil sample found next to my driveway. The area was very close to the bottom of a bush. The soil was almost always in the shade.
Naming NotesTo make a name that was different i started combining different words and names to see what i could come up with. I combined my name with my boyfriends name to create the name Zashind.

Plaque NotesMy plaque was approximately 4mm in size. It is a lytic plaque meaning it is a clear plaque. Very viscous phage clearing almost all of the mycrobacterium smematisoff of the plates until the end of the dilution series.
