Discovery NotesSampling was done on 9/16/2022. The sample was collected from a dried up lake bed of conservation land in Tewksbury. Gloves were worn during the collection and 2 separate samples
were collected. 1 sample collected was of mud from the dried part of the lake bed and enough was taken to fill up a full sterile container. The second sample was taken from the water and was
around the same amount of material collected. Both samples were then placed in the freezer for the next week. Then left in the fridge to thaw till 9/27/2022. when the isolation process was started. The liquid sample had been frozen for too long to be used so it was discarded.
Naming NotesNamed after a character from Invader Zim plus the section of general biology the student was in.
