Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected along the celery bog trail (location: 40.4588999, -86.9388351). This sample was collected on August 29th at 10:08 AM. It was 66 degrees F with 74% humidity. The sample was collected in a shady area next to the water with many different plant species growing around, as seen in Figure 1.1. The soil was moist and slightly compacted. A bag was used to pick up the soil to avoid contamination and put it into a sealed conical tube.
Naming NotesThis name was chosen because it is a combination of the first and middle name of the founder of the phage.
