Discovery NotesThe soil was obtained from a grassy area shadded by a large tree at the rear side entrance of the N scince building on Massey Campus of Indian River State College.The Soil was scooped with a sterile garden trowel and dispensed into a sterile 50ml conical tube.
Ambient temp: 31 degrees C.
The soil was cool and damp, collected just after it began to rain. The sample was dark brown in color and contained some organic matter, such as grass roots.
