Lysogeny NotesLysogen 1 grew well and had clear HTL spots, showing that it does not have immunity to the phage. Lysogen 2 did not grow well, which could mean it is a leaky lysogen or that the result was affected by HTL splash. The serial dilution of HTL on M. smegmatis looked normal with clear plaques. The phage release assay showed no phage release, indicating that the phage is lytic rather than lysogenic.
