Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from a lawn on Gonzaga campus between College Hall and Mary's Grotto. The soil sample was damp with organic matter, and the sample was taken from a few centimeters below the soil's surface.
Naming NotesOur phage name was originally intended to be "PhagentP," but was simplified due to naming regulations. This is a reference to the children's cartoon "Phineas and Ferb," specifically to the character Perry the Platypus- also known as Agent P.
