Discovery NotesMy soil sample was collected from the yard of the Pohl Recreational Facility on the UNT campus, It was taken from a fertile-looking patch of grass just beyond the volleyball courts on the end of the yard that Sycamore Street runs along. I dug about an inch into the soil and disturbed some earth with my plastic spoon, and scooped it into a conical tube. The weather was slightly overcast and a little more humid than usual, the temperature was between 90 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
