Discovery NotesSample was taken from the banks of the South Fork of the Kinnick River about half a meter from the edge of the water. The soil itself was underneath a layer of fallen leaves. It had a very moist texture, but did not have enough water to be liquidy. The day was sunny and did not have an especially high humidity.
