Discovery NotesThe soil was moister than usual because of a rainy forecast that day. Temperature was in the mid 70’s. I used a shovel and dug a 2 inch hole to retrieve the soil. Soil was dark, moist, but not muddy, and had a clay-like structure. Rocks, leaves, and wood-like pieces were surrounding the area.
Naming NotesI chose the name "Amiga" because it translates as "friend" in Spanish.

Plaque NotesPlaque diameter: 1 mm (millimeter)
Plaque radius: 0.5 mm

Because my radius was small, I had a higher number of PFU required in order to create a webbed plate. The larger the radius, the smaller number of PFU required to create a webbed plate. My phage is lytic.
