Discovery Notes | Soil is damp and full of organic matter. Worms found in soil site. Sand is present in the soil in small amounts. Found approximately 0.3 miles inland from Lake Michigan. Sterile water was added to the sample after collection. |
Naming Notes | The Angeleyes phage is named after one of my favorite songs, "Angeleyes" by Abba. The plaque morphology also resembles eyes as the plaques will clump together in pairs. |

Plaque Notes | After 48 hours of incubation at 34° C, plaques show a clear pinprick center and a slightly turbid ring and appear somewhat oval shaped surrounding the clear pinprick center. Plaques tend to clump together in groups of two or more. |
