Discovery NotesThe soil collected was from the Darien Community Park. The weather was cloudy with some wind. The soil was collected at 8:30 pm. The soil was quite hard and a small shovel was used to extract it. As I shoveled deeper into the soil, the soil was much more soft and easier to grasp. It consists of small rocks, grass, roots and wood chips. The soil color is a dark brown.
Naming NotesThe name of my phage is Antelope. This name was chosen from a help of a friend. I decided with her help to choose my phage name with the letter A. Letter 'A' was chosen because it is the first letter in the alphabet. I came to the decision my phage name should be an animal that starts with the letter A. The first animal that came into mind with this description was an Antelope.
