Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on March 5, 2017 at 1:28 PM. It was 61 degrees Fahrenheit/ 16 degrees Celsius. The sample was collected from right under a tree, about a couple feet from the trunk. The soil was dry, and I only dug down about 2 cm to collect this sample. The site of soil collection was close to a parking lot and a soccer field.
Naming NotesPhages kind of remind me of spiders. In Greek mythology, Arachne was a woman transformed into a spider by Athena.
