Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected from the base of a tree in front of the art building. There is a lot of traffic through that area. I dug down three centimeters into the dark and moist soil to harvest the sample. |
Naming Notes | I named it Aráneam, which is the Latin word for spider. I named it this because the phage demonstrated a remarkable ability to make web plates. |
