Discovery Notes | The sample was chosen near the landing strip of the local airport. |
Naming Notes | Where did the name for this phage come from? The name Zephyris comes from the Greek god of the west winds, Zephuros. I choose this name as the sample was chosen near the landing strip of the local airport. While collecting the sample, a plane zoomed above me and it was so close I felt the wind hit my arm. This led me to choose a wind- like name. |
