Discovery NotesPhage was obtained from soil collected near a pond on the Harbour Pointe Park near the Indian River. Soil was collected 5 cm below surface of the grass, organic matter such as leafs and sticks were also collected along with the soil. The soil sample was moist has it had been raining the night before. Temperature outside was 84°F.
Naming NotesAstraVirgo- "Star of Virgo". This phage was discovered on my birthday (Sep.8) during the Virgo zodiac period. AstraVirgo carries both personal and cosmic significance.
