Discovery Notes | The soil sample was taken from a flower plant which contained the herbs 'Thyme' outside of 9 Denver Place, in Durban. The soil was soft and black in colour and contained fine particles of debris. |
Naming Notes | Phage Azrael was named after a fictional character from batman. When batman was crippled by a supervillian Azrael was trained to be the new hero of Gotham. The name seemed approprite as traditional antibiotics "batman" are no long as effectient at treating TB therefore we need to look at alternate more efficient methods. |
