Discovery Notes | Found in the soil of a creek bank off of Spruce Run Rd. The creek fed into the NEW RIVER. I dug about 6cm deep to obtain this soil sample. The area was well shaded and frequently wet I assumed. |
Naming Notes | My father passed away freshman year. He had a stroke the year prior and wanted to ride his bike across the country to raise money for stroke victims and brain injury awareness. He called this event Barney Across America - my phage name, Bacrosam, has Ba for barney, Acros for across, and Am for America. |
