Discovery NotesThe sample was from damp soil with small rocks and pebbles and lots of grass around. It was found by a trash can.
Naming NotesThe phage's name is Balder, after the Norse god of ease, happiness, and innocence. Balder was killed by the god Loki and thus began a time of hardship and the war of the gods. This phage worked very well and was easy until a certain point then caused stress and heartache when it became harder to titer.
