Discovery NotesWe discovered a temperate bacteriophage through these experiments. We also found and calculated a High Titer Lysate as well as complete a restriction digest that led to the conclusion that our phage lacks DNA.
Naming NotesWe named our phage BATT because Milena and I went on a road trip together in a 1500 Ram Truck. During this road trip, the truck was our home and the first place where I received a speeding ticket! On this road trip, Milena and I's friendship grew to what it's now today; were are best friends and without the truck, we wouldn't have been able to go on this lovely bonding road trip together! BATT stands for Big As Texas Truck because the truck was HUGE for two girls and the interior of the truck was decked out in western memorbilia.
