Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from muddy soil surrounded by organic material. The sample was taken near a pond overgrown with cattails and other vegetation. Aquatic animals are also high in concentration in this area. The temperature was 65 degrees F and the sample was taken about 2 cm below the surface.
