Discovery NotesThe soil was collected from a tomato plant garden in a backyard of a suburban community. This garden was surrounded by the foundation of the house and the side walk. The sample was taken from 7cm below the surface and as moist. The slope gradient ran down into the garden.

Plaque NotesBernadette 2010 - The plaques were turbid and contained a darker turbid ring, halo, around the edges. The average size of the plaques was 3.5-4 mm. The plaques appeared after 23-24 hours of incubation.

Sydney Wynn 2023- Working with Bernicus in 2023 resulted in clear plaques that ranged from 1.5-2mm. The incubation time remained the same for 24 hours at 37 degrees C.
