Discovery Notes | The soil was moist because the night before the sprinklers were on. In the morning, the soil had somewhat hardened but was still soft when collected at 8:30 AM. I used a digger and reached 2-3 inches before extracting approximately about ½ pound of soil. Soil sample is dark ad resembles clay. It also contained small pieces of rocks, grass, and roots. |
