Discovery NotesOur phage was found in a flower bed outside of the Muenzinger bus stop on the CU Boulder campus, and the weather was partly cloudy with a slight breeze. The dirt sample where we isolated our phage from did have some wood chips in it.
Naming NotesWe noticed early on that our phage consumed an excessive amount of M. smegmatis bacteria, thus we wanted to name our phage after a delicious snack.
