| Discovery Notes | Phage adopted from Mason Tomko. Soil was collected from a location behind a Waffle House in Bowling Green, KY. Soil collected from a site near a roadway and railroad track, near a small shed behind the restaurant. The area had visible debris. Location of Waffle House: 1868 Russellville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42102 Phage Djoodi (Tomko) and Anstig(Ganesh) were isolated from the same enriched sample. Soil sample was moist and clay-like. It was collected at 6:09pm on September 19th. 510ft elevation. When collected, it was 82ºF and sunny. During the isolation process, 10 microliters of 1 millimolar calcium chloride was added to each dilution. The incubator was at 37 C for approximately the first four weeks, and 30 C for the remaining eight weeks. |

| Plaque Notes | Birdperson's plaques are extremely small, ranging from 1 mm to 2 mm in diameter. At the beginning of the isolation process, the plaques were turbid, but only slightly so. During the isolation process, clear plaque mutants appeared, and Birdperson became more lytic in nature. |
