Discovery Notes | The phage was found in innovation Garden at George Mason University on September 29th, 2018. It was a rainy day and was collected from wet soil from a hole 0.5 of an inch deep. The soil was collected in the morning around 10:00am. The temperature outside was about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. |
Naming Notes | The name came from the Sims 3 game where a character is named Bliss. I thought it was a unique name and wanted to name something Bliss but I do not have any pets so a bacteriophage is the next best thing. |
