Discovery NotesOn January 29, 2023, around 7:00 p.m , I took a soil sample outside of my front yard in Plainfield, Illinois. It was fifteen degrees that night and softly snowing when I took my soil sample. The soil was firm and coated in snow because of the chilly weather. I had dug pretty deeply and extracted dirt that filled half of a zip-lock bag. I had put hot water on the hard soil to make it easier to dig, however this made the dirt mushy and liquid within the bag.
Naming NotesOne thing I really love in life is my car, along with it having blue headlights. I also enjoy biology lab 1199 therefor I decided to name my phage "bluey" from my headlights.
