Discovery Notes | I got my soil sample from a flower bed near Memorial Union. The depth of the sample was 4 inches from the surface and the ambient temperature was 53 degrees Fahrenheit. I performed direct Isolation with Plaque assay and found turbid (lysogenic) plaques. |
Naming Notes | I names my phage "BonBon". It means candy in French. I named my phage after that because I think that phages look like lollipops and I liked the name as well. |
