Discovery NotesI obtained my phage from soil under a tree, the soil was in a shaded area, and it felt moist but was not damp or wet to the touch. The soil was surrounded by a grassy area and was a couple of feet from a sidewalk with high foot traffic however the area where the soil actually was has very low foot traffic. The soil came from approximately 1 cm deep. The temperature of the air was 81 degrees Fahrenheit and the air was not humid.

Plaque NotesThe plaques were approximately 1-4mm in diameter. When first performing the plaque purification through the streaking method my plaques were smaller, being closer to 1-2mm and were clear. When I performed the 1 plate and 10 plate lysates however, my plaques changed and got bigger, being closer to 4mm and were haloed, resembling a bulls eye, they had a clear middle and a turbid circle surrounding the clear middle.
