Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from soil next to lots of bushes and vegetation. The soil was dark brown but not very moist. Sample was collected from just under the surface of the soil to about an inch deep, and there were many roots and other matter that was collected with it.
Naming NotesBoothill is a name given to burial grounds of gunslingers "who died with their boots on” in the Old West. When working with this bacteriophage, it would decimated the bacteria host each time, leaving only the remains.
