Discovery Notes10 feet away from Madonna Hall, dry and grainy soil on top with moist soil underneath, a tree about a foot away. The sample was a few feet away from the parking lot, bushes nearby in addition to the tree. Sample came from about 3-5 inches below the surface. Some roots were in the soil.
