Discovery NotesThis soil was collected from a frozen patch of ground near the recreation center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This specific location was close to the Eastern wall, near a sidewalk. This area sees moderate foot traffic. However, there was a lot of snow on the ground at the time of collection, so the foot traffic at this time was minimal.
