Discovery Notes | Raised Land bridge next to salt water with a bike bath in the center. Soil mixed with a few rock and approximately 10 ft above the level of the sea. I digged down approximately 4 inches before collecting my soil sample. The dirt had barely any vegetation, some normal grass and some tall grasses. |
Naming Notes | Casimir in latin means "someone who destroys an opponents glory during battle" and this phage has destroyed me during battle with isolation and web platting protocols I thought of the name originally because of an orange dinosaur named Casimir on a french television show not to mention there is also a beautiful song called Casimir Pulaski Day. For all of those reasons, I named my phage Casimir. |
