Discovery NotesThe average diameter of Chappal. The location of where it was found is located in my backyard. The reason why I choose this location is because phages generally grow better in soil that is located near water/water has impacted the soil.
Naming NotesThe reason why my phage was named “Chappal” was because of the significance it had on my grandmother. Chappal, is an Urdu word which means slipper. My grandmother would go no where without the notorious slippers that she travels around with. So the idea occurred to me because it was something that I can always remember my grandmother by.
