Discovery NotesDiscovered in highly saturated soil near a body of water and various snake holes. Collected from a depth of 5 centimeters.
Naming NotesNamed after the Greek mythological figure, Charon- the ferryman into the underworld. For a small fee, Charon takes souls across the River Styx into the next phase of their existence. Phage was collected near a body of water and has demonstrated the ability to lyse m. smeg. These facts immediately made me think of Charon.
