Discovery Notes | The soil sample was damp, but slightly firm and hard. There were patches of grass surrounding the area. The soil was obtained outside a Starbucks on Drexel University Campus. |
Naming Notes | We named our phage after a character in one of our favorite television shows - Brooklyn 99. The name of the NYPD Captain is Holt, and his dog’s name is Cheddar. As a lover of dogs, we decided to name our phage after Cheddar. |

Plaque Notes | The plaques ranged from 1-2 mm in diameter. The most common plaque size was about 2 mm in diameter. The phages were clear as the plaques were distinctly seen and there was no clouding on the plaques/plate. There was some webbing present on the plate as well. |
