Discovery NotesA dry soil sample was obtained from slightly in front of the Holy Mary
statue on the MSMU campus. The depth was ~ 1 cm, and the location was shaded from sun exposure. The soil was dry and black like potting soil.
Naming NotesOur sample site was close to the Holy Mary statue, so we wanted a religious name. Cherubim is described as a winged being that has a human face.
