Discovery Notes | A dry soil sample was obtained from slightly in front of the Holy Mary statue on the MSMU campus. The depth was ~ 1 cm, and the location was shaded from sun exposure. The soil was dry and black like potting soil. |
Naming Notes | Our sample site was close to the Holy Mary statue, so we wanted a religious name. Cherubim is described as a winged being that has a human face. |
